Yes, I will include a "send a test email" button in my account page, I'll let you know when you can access it.

Later today, I assume.

OK, you can now send a test e-mail to your account email address by going to My Account

Hope this helps! Thanks.

Not getting any cam4 notifications and thought something was wrong, but I just read the latest news about c4 having some bugs.

Hope you guys can fix this problem soon, you're awesome!

I'm new here and seem to be having trouble getting notification emails from chaturbate. I really appreciate this site, and all of the work that goes into it, thanks.

I believe you have already tried a "send a test email" action and you confirm that you are receiving emails from camnotifier in your inbox? If not, you should add [email protected] to you access list. Please check your spam folder, though this service is not sending unsolicited emails.

If so, you should receive notification emails from camnotifier. Were your chaturbate cams online after you add it to your account?

Are notifications sent only during certain hours (to keep from waking up people in the middle of the night)? That might explain why I didn't get a notification for someone that is online. It might be a good idea to allow the user to specify what hours they want to receive emails. I have other suggestions as well if the developer wants to contact me directly by email.

How often does the system check to see if a particular model is online? I sometimes go online and find that a model is online but has not been detected by the system. Perhaps if you are checking a lot the sites will ban you and you may need to use proxies to keep from getting banned. It might be a feature that would get people to upgrade to premium if they had the option to specify how often to check.

Hi,

The system sends emails all the time. I'm not sure if it would be a good idea to introduce a new level of complexity while configuring the notification options for cams, user should stop his/her notification application at night or whenever it is necessary.

Stats about checking cams are displayed on the homepage, this is updated every 5 minutes.

Checking cams is done in a non-harmful way, without consuming a lot of bandwidth. I believe that the current interval is more than enough for users to catch the performer at the beginning of their show.

Sometimes errors are encountered and the checking is blocked in a continuous loop. But, every-time this happens, we update and improve the checking (this is one of those times).

Thank you for your comments.

Does a cam have to be on for so long before it is notified? I like watching a cam that has been online today according to Cam4, but I didn't get an email.

cam online notification emails seemed not to be send out since 01:00am UTC today. At least from my point of view.

seems to be working... not sure if it was just a temporary thing. I'm working on a realtime feedback so everyone can have a look at the stats.
