the big boys not playing nice with camnotifier?

Well this has thrown me for a loop.

I set my gmail to forward my email to my cellphone's text address. (My gmail addy is my camnotifier notification address.)

Works great, except for one thing: Gmail will forward anything and everything EXCEPT ANYTHING FROM CAMNOTIFIER ! Not even test emails.

Do you have any idea what the hell is going on here?

Yep, this is a known issue. Multiple members were forwarding their emails to cellphone's text address, even using the cellphone's text address as their account user name. And one day text stopped coming. Probably they banned everything coming from camnotifier.

We are targeting SMS as an alternative notification channel, but definitely will come at a cost.

Thanks for the reply! But I just solved my issue, I think. I used another email service (an old and very well-known one) to filter and alert me. Test email successful.

I never liked Gmail anyway. The process of telling it what to do is so damned counter-intuitive. Google seems to love throwing up roadblocks.
