okay so I've set it up as per your instructions. I have tried sending the code twice now, but I don't receive anything. Now that Gtalk has been reconfigured as Google Hangouts, does this system still work the way you're describing? there really is no such thing as gtalk anymore so hangouts are all we have.

I sill use google talk, but I will give hangout a try. It should be the same thing. Have you tried adding camnotifier.com as a contact?

you are still using it? im surprised your able to. you must not update your phone or whatever device you use, huh? I'm a certified Google Apps EDU trainer, so im pretty well versed in all things Google. Let me know if you need assistance or have questions.

I'm still using gtalk on my android phone, just did an update to google hangout, it is the same thing.

Are you able to receive notifications now? Have you added camnotifier.com to your contact list and try the validation again?

i added camnotifier.com and [email protected] to my contacts. requested the code at least 5 different times. Have hangouts open on desktop AND phone..no code received. :(

Have you tried entering your full google ID? [email protected]?

i am using full id [email protected]...still nothing. I had a test email sent successfully, just to make sure i was getting stuff. not sure whats going on. You said you have Hangouts on your phone now, did you get the code sent successfully? i dont understand why its not working

i even tried adding info@camnotifier to a hangout and invited it...figured it was worth a shot.
