Not really, you have the stats on the site: minimum check interval, so you know what to expect.

If a cam goes online and then goes offline in less than the minimum check interval, you will not get notified.

Emails are sent using Amazon Cloud Service, and it is really reliable. Check your spam folder. Send a test email from your account, see if you do receive it.

Thanks!

Unfortunately that's true. For about 2 weeks I realized that randomly I get notified when my registered cams are online.

Lately there were many problems, but I'm on my way to fix this.

We are on a new server and it is looking pretty good so far.

Just bear with me a couple of days. Thanks!

i see a cam is online but i havent recieved an email. i go to my list of cams on camnotifier...it says it detects that he is online...but then why didnt i get an email?

and sometimes I recieve like 3 emails in regards to one person broadcasting...even though he hasnt restarted his cam or anything.

Yes, I've changed the way cams are checked so I will not hit the provider's site too often, but this in turn generates that

The other one a suspect is it a bug, as I understand you do not have the "Notify only once per webcam" option checked.

I welcome your feedback.

I have solutions to all of this issues, but it is hard to implement them.

I'm expecting things to go slow, it will take probably a couple of months to do it right.

Thank you!

Since the server change I'm not getting emails to say a cam is online, and I've just sent myself a test email, and that hasn't come through either!

Have you checked the spam folder? Only the hosting server was changed, the email server is the same.

Total cams: 5528

Cam check interval: 28.48 min

why is the cam check interval nearly half an hour on the front page? didnt it use to be like 5 minutes? some of the guys i watch get on and get off in like 20 minutes...i wonder if this is why i havent been getting cam notifications these past few days and yes I have checked my spam folder

Cam check interval is not accurate, it is actually much smaller than the value presented.

I'm changing the whole system now. I'll review the notification and also I'll provide a way to see the notification log by yourself.

Thanks!

I'm not getting any notifications via email for camfuze (they were coming in fine up until the 15th) and when I check my cam list on this site, is says nobody has been on sine the 15th, even though I know for a fact some of the cams I have on there have been online.

As it is stated in the last news post, for now the camfuse is not supported, but we are working on it.

Thanks!
